Contact: David Austin (david@af4c.org)

AF4C is Looking for Volunteers

My name is David Austin and I work as Human Resource/Volunteer Manager for America's Foundation for Chess. I am currently sending out a lot of press regarding our programming and our need for volunteers.

We are trying to reach Chess enthusiasts and high school/college students who need community service hours. Following is a brief description regarding our efforts.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or resources that might help get the word out. Thank you for your time and consideration.

America’s Foundation for Chess is a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen the minds and character of young people by advancing chess in schools and culture. We are seeking motivated on-going volunteers for numerous exciting and enriching projects and outreach programs. AF4C is recruiting volunteer chess enthusiasts to help at our numerous events such as: Chess Championships, The Chess Superbowl and Family Chess Nights as well as office support with mailings, data-entry and project assistance working alongside our motivated and friendly staff.

You can visit our web-site at www.af4c.org for more information about our programming. Interested volunteers should contact Volunteer Manager David Austin at david@af4c.org, or call (206) 675-0490.
