Washington Girls Championship Results

Becca Lampman a student a Union High School in Vancouver won the event with 3.5-.5 score. 2nd was another Vancouver resident, Sarah May who is home schooled at 3-1. 12 took part under the direction of David Hendricks on March 2, 2014.

10 players took part on March 1, 2014 a G/15; d/0 event at Coffee Time in Portland Oregon.

No clear winner in the 4 round event. Scoring 3-1 were Jason Cigan, Michael Goffe and Scott Levin.

Portland Chess Shop (CLICK HERE) was the sponsoring affiliate with Galen Pyle handling the TD tasks. Try your hand at G/15 at Coffee Time next month. Events are held the first Saturday of each month and are quick rated by USCF.

The event was held March 1, 2014 at the club with Jon Fortune as chief TD with assistant TD Neil Dale. As usual Nick Raptis won the event with 4-0. The win added two rating points to both his regular and quick ratings. 22 players took part. The event was held in March but named PCC Feb2014 Game 60 because is was to be held in Feb. but moved to March because of the Oregon Championship change of dates.
