Klamath Falls Chess News

Klamath Falls Chess Club (reports on Facebook)

Congratulations to our member Stu Taylor on a nice undefeated performance at the Portland Spring Open (including draws with two experts) – bringing his USCF rating up to 1880. This means that the Klamath Falls Chess Club membership roster now includes three of the top fifty players in Oregon!

Throw in some very strong players in the Medford/Ashland area, and Southern Oregon is better represented within our state’s chess scene than one might think. Watch out Portland, we’re coming for you!
