1/30/14 Chess Titans (level 10) - Paul Weaver King's Indian 1 c4 Nf6 2 Nf3 g6 3 g3 Bg7 4 Bg2 0-0 5 d4 d6 6 Nc3 Nbd7 7 e4 e5 8 Be3 Ng4 9 Bc1 exd4 10 Nxd4 Nc5 11 b4 Na6 12 b5 Nc5 13 0-0 Ne5 14 Qe2 Ne6?(hereabouts Black loses his advantage. the right program appears to be ... a6 followed by ... Re8 and ... Be6) 15 Nf3! (a very good move by the program) Nxf3+ 16 Qxf3 Nd4 17 Qd3 f5 18 Be3 Ne6 19 exf5 Rxf5 20 f4 Rf8 21 Bd5 Kh8 22 a4 a6 23 Rd1 axb5 24 axb5 Rxa1 25 Rxa1 Qf6 26 Ra3 Nc5 27 Qe2 Re8 28 Qf2 b6 29 Bc6 Rf8 (not a pleasant choice giving up an active line for the rook) 30 Ne4? (30 Nd5! was the move I was worried about during the game and in fact Black would have to sacrifice a pawn with 30 ... Qf5 31 Nxc7 Qb1+ 32 Qf1 Qb2 33 Ra8 and black is in a bad way) Nxe4 31 Bxe4 Bf5 32 Bxf5 Qxf5 33 Rb3?? (gives up a crucial open file to black and this can be called the decisive blunder. Had he not done so it is likely this game would have ended up a draw) Ra8 34 Bd4 Qe4 35 Bxg7+ Kxg7 36 Qb2+ Kg8 37 Rc3 Qe1+ (hereabouts Black was looking for a way to checkmate White or force him to give up his queen for a rook but nothing was found during the game) 38 Kg2 Ra1 39 Kh3 Qe6+ 40 Kg2 Qe4+ 41 Kh3 Re1 42 Qf2 Re2! (forcing the win of the "c" pawn) 43 Qf3 Qxf3 44 Rxf3 Rc2 45 Ra3 Rxc4 (now it is a matter of technique. Not easy at times in rook and pawn endings!) 46 Kg4 Kf7 47 h4 Kf6 48 Kf3 Rc5 49 Rb3 h5 50 Ke3 Kf5 51 Kf3 d5 52 Ke3 Rc4 53 Rd3 Re4+ 54 Kf3 Ke6 55 Kf2 Ke6 56 Rb3 c6 57 bxc6 Kxc6 58 Kf3 b5 59 Ra3 Ra4! 60 Rxa4 (this is one of the weaknesses of the program: it doesn't recognize lost king and pawn endings) bxa4 61 f5 gxf5 62 Kf4 a3 63 Kxf5 a2 64 Kg5 a1Q 65 Kxh5 Qg7 66 g4 d4 (black could also win without the "d" pawn by walking his king over) 67 g5 d3 68 Kg4 d2 69 Kf4 Qg6 70 h5 Qxh5 71 g6 Qxg6 72 Kf3 d1Q+ 73 Kf4 Qd4+ 74 Kf3 Qgd3+ 75 Kg2 Qb2+ 76 Kh1 Qdb1 mate
