Paul Weaver-Chess Titans (level 10) 2/7/14 Pirc 1 e4 d6 2 d4 Nf6 3 Nc3 g6 4 f4 Bg7 5 Nf3 e6?? (this is responsible for black's defeat in this game. It weakens f6. This has to be deferred until white can't take advantage of it. somehow the computer favors playing this move. it also earned a defeat in the 1st game of the current match. this was the 7th game) 6 Bd3 0-0 7 e5! (this and Ne4 give white a crushing advantage) dxe5 8 fxe5 Nd5 9 Ne4! Nb4? (objectively best was 9 ... f5 which only yields a weak pawn on e6 to be exploited) 10 Bg5! Qd5 (not any better is 10 ... Qe8 11 Nf6+ Bxf6 12 exf6! Nd7 13 Ne5 Qd8 14 Qf3! c5 15 0-0!! cxd4 16 Nxg6! hxg6 17 Qh3) 11 Nf6+ Bxf6 12 Bxf6 Nxa2(?) (12 ... Rd8 is a try being willing to give up the exchange to save the poor king but after 13 Qd2 Nxd3+ 14 cxd3 Kf8 15 Rc1!! Na6 16 Qh6+ Ke8 17 Qg7 black is a goner) 13 Qd2 Nc6 14 Qh6 Qa5+ 15 c3 Nxd4 16 Qg7 mate
