Applying a suggestion of Larsen I successfully employed the Sicilian Reversed vs. the chess titans. Paul Weaver - Chess Titans (level 10) started 3/9/14 English Opening 1 c4 e5 2 d3 (look familiar?) Nc6 3 Nf3 d5 4 cxd5 Bb4+ 5 Bd2 Bxd2+ 6 Qxd2 Qxd5 7 Nc3 Qa5 (this doesn't turn out well for the black queen) 8 g3 (8 ... f5 is a real possibility for black) Nf6 9 Bg2 Be6 10 0-0 (I considered 10 Ng5 but Bf5 doesn't do anything for white) 0-0-0? 11 Ng5! Rd6 12 Nxe6 fxe6 13 a3 Nd4 (one of the things white has to watch is a potential ... Qxc3 followed by ... Nxe2+) 14 b4 Qa6 (adjourned here. resumed 3/10/14 in the morning) 15 Qb2 Nd5 (now white gets some material by force but black is already in big trouble) 16 Ne4 Rc6 (after 16 ... Rb6 17 e3! Nf5 18 Nc5 white winds up stealing three (!) pawns) 17 Nc5 Qb6 18 Rfb1 (I thought afterwards that I missed 18 Nxe6 but that would have been a big mistake due to 18 ... Rc2! and black's idle pieces become active) Qb5 (adjourned here and resumed after I came home from work that night) 19 e3! (thought at the time I was just winning a pawn with a good position) Nf5 (what's this? a pawn fork is available!) 20 e4 (the rest of the game is of interest only in the efficiency in which white puts away black) Rxc5 (the computer must have blown a fuse) 21 bxc5 Qxb2 22 Rxb2 Nfe7 23 exd5 exd5 24 Re1! e4 25 dxe4 d4 26 e5! c6 27 Reb1! b5 28 cxb6 a5 29 b7+ Kb8 30 Rb6 Nd5 31 Bxd5 cxd5 32 Ra6 Kc7 33 Ra8 Rb8 34 Rxb8 Kxb6 35 e6! (a cute little finish here) g5 36 e7 d3 37 e8Q+ Kc7 38 b8Q mate
