Ride share: PCC Centennial Open

Hey, you don't want to miss this event. The PCC has stepped up, and put forth the makings of a great chess tournament at a nice hotel. Ideal for someone like me who likes to be able to walk to my room for a nice break or rest in between rounds of battling chess. How are you getting there? Train? That could be fun. I like it too. You do have to abide by their schedules... Bus? Leisurely, maybe a little cramped.... Your own car? What could better?... Plane? Expensive, and in the final analysis, it probably doesn't save you any time... Well, I am driving, and I am looking for a couple of passengers.. you and/or a friend... to share some of my expenses on a round-trip from the Seattle area to this event. Round one starts at 11AM on Friday, so I would like to arrive about 930AM, and avoid the Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia traffic mess and most of the Vancouver-Portland snarls as well... I also am expecting to take a last round half-point bye because I don't like to drive a long distance late at night, which would follow playing a probably tiring sixth round game that doesn't start until 5PM on Sunday. Maybe staying over one more night is possible, and maybe you can propose some other plan. I am open to discussion... Get in touch with me here.... Why not use this forsaken bulletin board for a change? Or get in touch with me directly by my email or phone #, if you have it already.... I am giving you plenty of time to procrastinate or reach me. I'd like to have this all resolved by early August.
