Seattle Spring Open

I stopped by to see the tourney.. It is now rated..event # 200903299581 if you are interested.. They actually had 36 players.. So not a bad turnout.. Only one master though... Hmmm..

Any way I have been noticing that our region's younger players keep on getting stronger.. Michael Omori had a break- through tourney crossing 1900 in rating.. I thought he must have played a great 3rd round game against Jerry Li in the Open section.. I'd love to see the whole game.. I was looking at the game in a certain position where White was down a piece but with an attack, and I was wondering who was winning and what white should play.. and he played d5 which opened even more lines for the attack at a the cost of another pawn.. Pretty bold.. I was stereo-typically looking at a N-sac.. I am sure he was looking deeper...I had to move on before I saw the answer..

Perhaps there's not much chance of seeing the whole game but maybe they turned in a copy, or maybe either of them will post it here..
