The event was held Feb 28-March 1 at South Umpqua High School in Myrtle Point, Oregon. The sponsoring group was Oregon High School Chess Team Association. CLICK HERE for their website.

Crescent Valley varsity team won the overall team championship and also the 5A school title. The high school is in Corvallis, Oregon. Team members are Matt Dalthorp, Yogi Saputra (both scored 5-0 in the event), Ian Dickson (3-2) and Thomas Kneeland (2.5-2.5) plus David Wen (2-3).
2nd place team was Lincoln of Portland while two teams tied for 3rd, Lake Oswego High School and LaSalle High School of Portland.
Tournament Director was Norman May for the event.
