Those getting that score in the Open section were Oregon players: <strong>Aaron Grabinsky<\/strong>, <strong>Richard Gutman<\/strong> and <strong>Alexandra Botez<\/strong>. Topping the Reserve Section were: <strong>Stephen Buck<\/strong> (WA), <strong>James Chen<\/strong> (OR) and <strong>Abhinav Brahmarouthu<\/strong> (OR) and <strong>Ralph Anthony<\/strong> (WA).<\/p>\n<p>Believe the 139 players taking part was one of the largest turnouts for an Oregon Open. Tournament directors were: Gregori Alpernas and Michael Morris of the Portland Chess Club.
