Publisher Inquiries

Please use the same form as above for letters to the editor. All emails to the editor address also go to the publisher.

If you are inquiring about submitting material for publication in Northwest Chess magazine (for example, articles, games and photos), please use this response form. If your submission is too long to fit here, you can also send an e-mail directly to publisher@nwchess.com.

The publisher will contact you to discuss the possible use of your content in the magazine. Please note that magazine back issues will also eventually appear on this website, and you must give non-exclusive permission to Northwest Chess to publish your content in both forms. Inquiries and submissions without a valid name/e-mail for confirmation purposes will be rejected.

Northwest Chess Board Inquiries

Due to infrequent use, please use the General Inquires form above to contact the board, instead of the previous form. Legitimate inquiries will be forwarded to all board members for consideration.

A Northwest Chess board member may contact you to respond to your comments/suggestions, or to initiate further discussion. Submissions to the board will remain confidential, however the board may request your permission to publish your ideas in the magazine or on the website. The board regrets that it is unable to pay for ideas submitted or adopted. If your idea is subject to copyright or patent rights, please include this information at the time of submission.
