  • Chess4Life Premium Center Classes (PCC) are for chess players of all skill levels. From absolute beginner to 1600 NWSRS rated, we have something to teach you. Classes run Mon-Sat every week all year long. Visit the linked website for the class schedules.

  • Chess4Life After School Clubs - Chess4Life teaches chess in 80+ schools in the Puget Sound area. Visit the linked website to find your school. Would you like Chess4Life to teach at your school? Fill out a New School Request Form and a Chess4Life representative will contact you.

  • Chess4Life Quads/State Qualifier/Beginner's Tournaments - Quads are fun tournaments held on Friday nights in Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah. Each player is placed with 3 other players of similar rating to play 3 chess games. Winners receive a trophy. Quads are rated events and are a great way to sharpen skills, and meet other chess players. Beginners tournaments are for anyone who hasn't participated in a tournament before and would like to try some friendly competition. State Qualifiers prepare players to take part in the State championships. Check-in can be done online, by phone at (425) 283-0549 or in-person. Entry fee is $20.   • Chess Club at MLK Center (Grades 1-8) - Fridays 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 17, 2014 and ending Dec. 19, 2014. Location: MLK F.A.M.E. Community Center, 3201 East Republican Street, Seattle, WA.

  • Saturdays Noon to 2:00 PM - Detective Cookie's Urban Youth Chess Club (ages 5-18 plus family), Rainier Beach Branch (Library), Seattle, WA. Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Contact Info: Rainier Beach Branch, 206-386-1906.

  • Various – Orlov Chess Academy with IM Georgi Orlov. See www.chessplayer.com, e-mail chess64@comcast.net. (Registration required; fees charged per class attended.)
