Marysville/Everett, WA (Aug. 31, 2010) – Shawn Leeson, darkest.spectre@yahoo.com, of Marysville, WA is interested in starting a chess club in the Marysville/Everett WA area. There used to be a club in each location and now both are inactive. If you are a Snohomish County chess player looking for a place to play, or who may be interested in starting a club closer than Seattle, please contact Shawn. Albany, OR – "First Mondays Chess," a monthly chess gathering for adults and children of all ages, continued at 6 p.m. Sept. 13, 2004 at the main branch of the Albany Public Library.
