Albany, OR – "First Mondays Chess," a monthly chess gathering for adults and children of all ages, continued at 6 p.m. Sept. 13, 2004 at the main branch of the Albany Public Library. A chess leader will lead classes during future gatherings. No registration is required. For more information, call librarian Scott Keeney at 917-7591. (Not certain if this is still active.)

Arlington, WA – The chess club is inactive as the bookstore has changed hands. Warren Chase is open to reestablishing the club in a different location. If anyone in the Everett/Arlington area is interested in playing or getting involved they can e-mail Warren at wartdog@comcast.com.
